We have snow!

Looking outside this morning there is nothing to be really excited about as far as snow goes. Right now it is just freezing cold and a few snow flurries coming down.

Turned on the local news and there is a Winter Weather Advisory for Buncombe County (and numerous other counties). Then going across the screen they have started listing school closings.....

The wind is picking up and is now very gusty. Husband called to let me know he made it into work safely but that the roads are getting very slick.

We are home bound today! Had an appt. with our Herbalist but have cancelled it. We are going nowhere. Rattling my brain to figure something to keep the kids busy because I am bed ridden with a stomach bug AND my moon (my period).

Checking outside and...WE HAVE SNOW!

Is it winter already?!

All morning long we were graced with large snow flurries falling but the sad thing is that they did not accumulate to anything! The high for today was only 36~. It was fun to sit and watch though all awhile thinking of the upcoming holidays, gathering with family and friends, the holiday parade, drinking warm apple cider or hot chocolate and roasting marshmallows by the fire.

School closings. The kids staying home from school to go sledding, creating snow angels and making snow persons.

I am definately ready!
