All morning long we were graced with large snow flurries falling but the sad thing is that they did not accumulate to anything! The high for today was only 36~. It was fun to sit and watch though all awhile thinking of the upcoming holidays, gathering with family and friends, the holiday parade, drinking warm apple cider or hot chocolate and roasting marshmallows by the fire.
School closings. The kids staying home from school to go sledding, creating snow angels and making snow persons.
I am definately ready!

Hey there! Welcome to the blog world! What a beautiful picture of the deer. Even though we are on acres of land, I never see deer up here.... good for the garden, but it would be nice to see bambi once in a while :-)

That is a beautiful photo. It makes me miss living in the country. Alas, we are city dwellers now. Some day I would like to move out again. And you have horses, too? How wonderful!
